Rolled into town
Never expecting to stay
Just enjoying life
And finding my way
Circumstances happened
And I’m still here
Raising three kids
Drinking my beer
Never wanted it all
Just took what was dealt
Never considering
How wrong it all felt
Got a wife who loves me
Never known why
Never thought too much
Just let things lie
Got the wife and kids
A house, three cars
An ulcer, arthritis
And cheap cigars
It this ain’t the blues
Don’t know what is
Just help a man out
Before he lands in the skids
